The TM1Z-125 DC MCCB DC circuit breakers are designed to provide overcurrent protection within appliances or electrical equipment that already provide or do not require branch circuit protection. It is a type of professional DC moulded case circuit breaker that are widely used in solar power systems.

FAQ

Q:Can AC MCCB be used for DC?

A:Only use MCCBs with a DC rating for DC circuits, as the arc cannot be extinguished and the wire will overheat and cause a fire.


Q:Are DC breakers directional?

A:DC currents have a unique "unidirectional" flow of charge, a constant direction, for example in batteries or solar cells, so DC circuit breakers must respect this single direction of charge. Reversing the polarity can lead to safety problems and irreversible damage.
